The Faith of Job

Job said to God:

Job 42:2 AMP

"I know that You can do all things, and that no thought or purpose of Yours can be restrained or thwarted."

No matter what our reality is here on earth, it is temporary and finite. There is a beginning and an end. Job had the key that unlocked the floodgates of heaven in spite of all he suffered, and that was the key of faith. Job knew that God is infinite, timeless, and not constrained by Job's earthly reality. In the end, Job's faith was rewarded so greatly that the last part of his life was far more blessed than the first part.

What is the take-away from Job's example? Nothing is impossible to them that believe. The Lord is waiting for us to release that tiny mustard seed of faith into His very capable hands. Ask and you shall receive. Seek and you shall find. Knock and the door shall be open to you. The first step towards Him makes His heart leap with excitement over all the blessings He wants to pour out on us. Yes, life can be very hard and we can suffer like Job. But if we remain faithful to God He will reward us as He did Job.
