Honesty

We can become so earthly minded we are no Heavenly good. What do I mean? We can care more about pleasing everyone around us, and not stepping on anyone's toes, than saying what we really think or what the truth is. Unfortunately, the political spirit has no interest in the eternal destination of those we come in contact with.

It is God's very nature to bring things that are hidden in the dark into the light (see Luke 8:17). The righteous are as bold as a lion (see Prov 28:1), and the Lord finds no pleasure in those who shrink back from sharing the Gospel in fear and timidity (see Heb 10:38). Therefore, we must be vigilant in speaking boldly regarding the gospel of Jesus Christ.

God is looking for the few brave-hearted individuals who will hold up the lamp of truth in a very dark world (see Isa 9:2). He comes as a thief in the night (1 Thess 5:2) and no man knows the hour or the day of Christ's return (see Matt 24:36). In view of this, we must work diligently while it is still light to speak the truth that will bring those who do not know Christ as savior into the Body of Christ before that dreadful night comes (see John 9:4).

The Lord is asking us to send out a clarion call to blow away the clouds of confusion and clear the way so others can see an unobstructed view of their eternal reality. People are hungry for truth. Pray up. Speak up. Stand up. Put up a fight against the evil that wants to kill, steal and destroy (see John 10:10). We may not have tomorrow. TLC
