He works ALL things out for our good (see Romans 8:28). He never said just the wonderful things, but the hard things too. He also said in this world you will have tribulation, but be of good cheer for He has overcome the world (see John 16:33). You are an over-comer simply by the virtue of the finished work of the Cross - not by anything you do other than your mustard seed of faith in God's ability to take care of you no matter what.

Rest in the knowledge that THE BATTLE BELONGS TO THE LORD (see 1 Sam. 17:47). Your job is to trust your heavenly Daddy and rest in His Presence. He will do all the heavy lifting in battle as you hide in the secret place of the fellowship with the Father. How do you find that secret place? You start by praising God and thanking Him. As you continue to focus only on praise and thanksgiving His Presence will grow stronger and stronger. Keep your eyes on Him and refuge will be found. TLC
